This centre is currently under construction, we are keen to engage a Centre Director to work with us from the beginning and be part of our success.

The Anglican Schools Commission (ASC) is one of the three commissions within the Anglican Church Southern Queensland (ACSQ), working with 21 schools and 19 Education and Care Services across Southeast Queensland. The ASC is the Approved Provider for this newly built Early Learning Centre and is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and innovative environment for early childhood education. What would you be doing?

As the Centre Director, you will:

  • Lead with Vision & Integrity – Work closely with the Parish and Approved Provider to ensure a positive, effective, and well-managed service. This will include working with us to set up this brand new service for success.
  • Ensure Compliance & Quality – Oversee all legislative and regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  • Support & Mentor Your Team – Recruit, lead, develop, and inspire a diverse team to deliver high-quality early learning experiences while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Support Financial Viability – Make informed decisions that contribute to the financial sustainability and ongoing success of the Service.
  • Drive Quality Improvement – Actively develop and implement the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) to enhance learning outcomes for children.
  • Oversee Curriculum & Educational Programs – Lead and support curriculum planning and implementation, ensuring compliance with governing regulations.
  • Manage Enrolments & Administration – Oversee new enrolments, funding guidelines, and government requirements while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Foster Positive Relationships – Build strong connections with families, staff, and stakeholders to create a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Champion Safety & Well-being – Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of children and staff, maintaining a culture of care and responsibility.

Who we are looking for:

We’re seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate leader who has:

  • Exceptional Leadership & Team Management Skills – Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a diverse team in an early learning environment.
  • Strong Understanding of Early Childhood Regulations & Compliance – Demonstrated knowledge of legislation, government funding guidelines, and regulatory frameworks within the early learning sector.
  • Business & Financial Acumen – Ability to make sound financial decisions that support the long-term sustainability and success of the Service.
  • Commitment to Ethical & Professional Standards – Ability to uphold and work within Anglican Schools’ Code of Conduct and ‘Our Commitment: Creating Environments for Children and Young People to Thrive’.
  • Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Engagement – Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and governing bodies.
  • Strategic & Organisational Abilities – High-level administrative and planning skills to oversee strategic decisions, policy implementation, funding compliance, and service quality improvements.
  • Passion for Early Childhood Education – A deep commitment to providing high-quality care and education that nurtures children’s growth and development.
