THE ROLE
80% Account Management Focus – Expand Client Portfolios
Beyond securing new business, you will also be responsible for nurturing and growing existing client accounts. You will maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service and continued engagement. By understanding your clients’ evolving needs and challenges, you will be able to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, further strengthening partnerships.
20% Identify Growth and Establish New Accounts in the Commercial & Industrial Markets
You will proactively seek out new business opportunities, identifying and targeting key players within the commercial and industrial sectors. This involves conducting market research, leveraging industry connections, and developing strategies to penetrate new markets. You will work closely with potential clients to understand their needs, presenting tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
Successfully Achieve and Contribute to Allocated Revenue Budgets and Focused Growth Targets
As a results-driven professional, you will be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals. You will develop and implement strategic sales plans, track performance metrics, and adjust your approach to maximize profitability. Consistently identifying high-value opportunities and optimising sales strategies will be key to your success in this role.
Advising on HVAC & Refrigeration Products and Solutions
Your role will involve consulting with clients to provide expert guidance on HVAC and refrigeration solutions that best suit their needs. You will stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements to offer informed recommendations. This consultative approach will help build trust and long-term relationships with customers, positioning you as a valuable industry resource.
ABOUT YOU
A commercially minded professional with a strong track record in sales, preferably within the refrigeration industry. You should have experience in developing new business, managing key accounts, and providing technical sales solutions to clients. Your ability to understand market dynamics, build relationships, and drive revenue growth will be essential in this role.
A background in selling technical products, whether it be refrigeration units, HVAC systems, industrial machinery, finished goods, or related components, will be highly advantageous. We value candidates who can translate their industry knowledge into meaningful solutions for clients and who are confident in navigating a technical sales environment. If you have successfully worked with B2B clients and have a strong understanding of the sales cycle in these sectors, you will thrive in this role.
While not mandatory, hands-on experience in an electrical or mechanical trade can be a major asset. Candidates with a trade background in refrigeration, HVAC, or industrial machinery will have a unique advantage in understanding the technical aspects of our products. This practical experience can help in providing accurate and informed recommendations to customers, allowing you to establish credibility and build trust in the industry.
If you have an engineering degree or technical qualifications in a related field, it will be considered a plus, but it is not essential. More important is your ability to effectively communicate complex solutions to customers and your willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-evolving industry. Whether your knowledge comes from formal education or years of hands-on experience, your ability to apply technical expertise to sales and business development will be highly valued.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- $110,000 – $115,000 Base + Super + $20,000 Car Allowance
