Baba's Place now looking for a Junior + Sous Chef to join our team in 2025. As a key member of our dynamic kitchen, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef, Executive Chef and all kitchen staff to ensure the overall success of Baba's Place. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our diverse and vibrant menu, inspired by a blend of cultures.

Key Responsibilities and skills :

• Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead and communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Team Management: Experience in supervising and managing kitchen staff, including training and motivating team members. Manage kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence, making decisions to resolve issues as they arise.
• Crisis Management: Skill in handling unexpected issues and maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
• Quality Control: Expertise in maintaining high standards for food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
• Ordering and Inventory Management: Proficiency in managing inventory, placing orders, and controlling costs.
• Briefing and Coordination with Front-of-House: Ability to coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and communication.
• Collaboration: Experience working with chefs and other team members to develop and refine menu items.
