Qualifications & experience

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for family law and a commitment to helping clients through difficult legal matters with empathy and skill. You will manage family law cases and provide expert advice while ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation
• Excellent analytical research and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
• Experience with LEAP legal software
• ACT practicing certificate

Tasks & responsibilities

This is a full-time position based in our office in Fyshwick, ACT. You will be part of a team and responsible for addressing incoming client enquiries, running your own matters, communicating with clients, providing legal advice and representation, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements and representing clients in court proceedings.
