We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team as the Assistant Principal Pedagogy and Innovation. This role is pivotal in shaping and enhancing our online education environment while embedding our Mercy charism and Catholic values.

In particular, you will bring a passion for enhancing student engagement in the middle years of education. You will play an integral role in the development of a learning and teaching program for the introduction of FisherONE’s first cohorts of full time students in Year 7 and 10 in 2026.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Agility and adaptability: Responding effectively to the evolving needs of an online learning environment.
  • Innovation through a forward-thinking approach to shaping and enhancing online education.
  • Flexibility: Navigating challenges and adjusting strategies dynamically.
  • Expert pedagogy: Leveraging off your proven experience to maximise high-impact teaching in an online or hybrid setting.
  • Faith-centered leadership: Commitment to embedding FisherONE’s Mercy charism and Catholic values into the online learning experience

You will bring to the position:

  • Proven experience in online or hybrid teaching environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with a faith-centered approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments to establish effective ways of working, processes, and policies.

There will be a requirement to work onsite at the Wilston office during Term 2 and Term 3, then at Mt Gravatt permanently from Term 4, 2025. Flexible work arrangements may be negotiable in the future. If you are passionate about innovation in education and committed to fostering a faith-centered learning environment, we would love to hear from you!
