Saltair is a multi-award-winning modular builder based in Coolum Beach, experiencing significant growth across new homes, secondary dwellings, social/affordable housing, and commercial/tourism projects. We’re looking for a passionate Sales Consultant to join our sales team at our Display Village in Coolum Beach and help clients bring their homes and developments to life!
Join our Team
As a Sales Consultant, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for clients, guiding them through the journey from enquiry to contract. This role is perfect for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships and closing deals.
- Learn and gain intimate knowledge of our overall processes and modular approach.
- Proactively generate and nurture leads to secure new business
- Identify and approach new / non-residential markets; eg, tourism/holiday parks, schools,
- Undertake Site Meetings and Site Inspections where necessary
- Undertake face-to face Consultations, Video-con where necessary, at times after hours.
- Occasionally manning the Coolum Display Village – weekend/Sat hrs (tbd)
- Conducting Display Village inspections with prospective clients
- Preparing Concept Site Plans using our easy-to-use advanced software
- Understanding Basic Modular Requirements for Access / Cranage
- Guiding Clients on ‘Modularisation’ of their Custom/Architect Plans
- Guiding Clients on possible modifications to our Standard Plans
- Researching Site Overlays using Council and State Interactive Mapping
- Basic Understanding of Development Codes and Local Council Planning
- Explaining Price Lists and preparing Concept Estimates using our Excel Tool
- Preparing ‘Preliminary Works’ proposals to progress Site Reports and Detailed Design
- Accurately documenting and updating CRM for each step of the process
- Collaborating with the Sales, Design and Marketing teams to share best practices, develop and improve our products, systems, customer experience, and ultimately sales.
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of success in residential home sales, with a minimum 3 years’ experience (modular experience is a plus, but not essential!)
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Ability to work with CRM systems, Excel and basic software tools
- Experience in developing sales strategies & targeting new markets
- Passionate team player who is excited by growth and opportunity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively
- Highly motivated and driven, with a competitive spirit and a commitment to exceeding sales targets
The Benefits
- $100k Base + Super + Uncapped Commissions
- OTE of $150k → $200k+ for the right candidate
- Car / Fuel Card negotiable
