Popolo Italian Kitchen and Bar is seeking a full-time bar manager.

DAP & Co. Hospitality Group was created in 2011 when Andrew Baturo, Denis Sheahan and Paul Piticco opened Popolo Italian Kitchen and Bar in Brisbane's iconic South Bank River Quay precinct. In 2013 the trio opened the award-winning Gresham Bar in Brisbane's CBD. Then, in late 2017 they secured the tenancy of the ground floor of Old Mineral House where they restored the interior to match the imposingly beautiful exterior and brought New York charm to downtown Brisbane as Walter's Steakhouse and Wine Bar.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude and skill set who is passionate about the hospitality industry. Popolo Italian Kitchen and Bar is open Monday and Tuesday for dinner service and lunch and dinner Wednesdays to Sundays, so we have a variety of shifts available to suit successful candidates noting that Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability is essential.

Role requirements:

• Previous experience in a related or similar role essential, with experience in a busy restaurant (minimum 1 year).
• Must be available to work Fridays and weekends.
• Hold a current RSA.
• Exceptional organisation and management skills.
• Advanced communication skills.
• Able to thrive under pressure.
• Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards.
• Flexible availability over a rotating roster, including lunches, nights, weekends and public holidays.
