About the Role:
Alternate Work Week

• Morning Shift Monday to Thursday 5 am to 3 pm
• Afternoon Shift Monday to Thursday 3 pm to 1 am

You will be working alternately between morning and afternoon shift on a weekly basis.

Duties/responsibilities:

• Participate in a rotating shift, starting with the day shift next week from 5 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Thursday. This will be followed by two weeks of afternoon shifts from 3 PM to 1 AM, also Monday through Thursday.
• Thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
• Responsible for packing products into boxes and onto pallets to fulfill customer orders in accordance with the production schedule.
• Conduct product testing to ensure compliance with specifications and maintain accurate production documentation.
• After completing training and demonstrating competency as a packer, you will be able to set up, pack, clean, and perform basic approved maintenance on the conversion machine or auxiliary equipment, such as ladders, trolleys, or pallet jacks.
• May be required to assist with and perform other tasks as needed.
• Capable of lifting and carrying weights ranging from 6 kg to 15 kg, with most items typically weighing around 6 kg.
  

To be qualified for the position:

• Previous experience in packing is preferred, along with knowledge of HACCP principles.
• Familiarity with machine operations, conversion processes, pouch making, and working with various substances and multi-layer films is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must be able to commit to a rotating shift schedule from Monday to Thursday.
• Access to a dependable vehicle for commuting to and from work is necessary.
• $35.20/hr + Super for both Morning and Afternoon shift
