Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including receiving, storing, and distributing natural stone products. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Unloading: Unload shipments of natural stone products from trucks, verify the contents against packing lists, and inspect for damages.
• Storage: Safely store products in designated areas, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies.
• Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damage before shipping and ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in the natural stone or construction materials industry.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Equipment Skills: Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Certification is a plus.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to meet company goals.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
