We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the administration team by managing financial records, processing transactions, and handling front desk operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Track and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with budget preparation and cost management.
- Provide financial support and address inquiries from the administration team as needed.
- Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and in compliance with accounting standards.
- Greet and assist students, visitors, and staff with a professional and friendly attitude.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other communications, directing inquiries to the appropriate department.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or financial support role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.
