About the role

Join the dynamic team at Sterling Laser and Metal Fab' as a Fibre Laser Machine Operator. This full-time role is based in Campbellfield, Victoria and will see you operating state-of-the-art fibre laser cutting equipment to create precision metal parts and components.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring fibre laser cutting machines to fabricate metal parts and components as per customer specifications
• Setting up and adjusting machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality
• Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Identifying and resolving any technical issues or defects in a timely manner
• Adhering to all safety protocols and quality control procedures
• Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and targets

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience operating fibre laser cutting machines or other CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
