Perth NRM is a highly regarded for-purpose organisation in the natural resources management (NRM) sector. We collaborate with governments (federal, state and local), community, academics and the corporate sector to deliver solutions to environmental issues. Our purpose is to empower people to positive ecological impact. We do this through coordination and support of agriculture, coastal and landcare programs.

Position Purpose

The Program Manager - ReWild Perth will oversee the delivery and continuing development of the ReWild Perth program. With support from the Program Coordinator – Environment, the Program Manager - ReWild Perth will deliver community engagement initiatives which promote the ReWild Perth program and online platform to community groups, local government, commercial organisations, and the public. Activities include delivery of workshops, displays, events and presentations. The role will also continue to develop the ReWild Perth Strategy and drive additional business development initiatives to grow the ReWild Perth program.

Key Selection Criteria

ESSENTIAL

• Experience developing successful grant applications, sponsorships and partnership proposals.
• Confident and clear presentation skills, and experience delivering community engagement workshops/presentations.
• Experience managing all aspects of projects, including oversight of budget, preparing outcome reporting and maintaining funder relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in relevant field, or equivalent workplace experience.
• Current ‘C’ Class drivers licence.
• Australian residency or eligibility to legally work in Australia

DESIRABLE

• Knowledge of wildlife friendly gardening techniques and plants local to the Perth Region.

This is a 0.6FTE position through to June 2028, with potential for additional casual or ongoing FTE, dependant on skills and experience. The position is to commence as soon as possible, with flexible working arrangements, in a friendly, safe and progressive work environment.
