Role Overview:

As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist Team Leader, you will:

• Lead a Team: Oversee and support a team of 1-5 Occupational Therapists, providing clinical supervision, conducting performance appraisals, and fostering professional development
• Manage a Tailored Caseload: Maintain a reduced caseload focused on your preferred paediatric specialty areas
• Collaborate Multidisciplinary: Work alongside a diverse team, including Physiotherapists & podiatry, to deliver comprehensive client care
• Serve Diverse Paediatric Clients: Provide services to NDIS and private clients, with a focus on fine and gross motor skills, social skills, sensory processing, and sensory integration
• Flexible Work Model: Enjoy both clinic-based work and the option for school/pool/home visits

What You Will Need:

• To be passionate about helping kids reach their full potential
• Be fun, creative and innovative as you help your clients achieve their goals
• Be able to work collaboratively with a team of Physiotherapists in person and over the phone
• To hold a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and have current AHPRA registration
• Have at least three years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist in paediatrics
• Be motivated to manage others as the Occupational Therapy team grows
• Have unrestricted Australian Working Rights
• Have a WWCC or be able to obtain one
