To support recent growth, we are seeking experienced FIFO/ DIDO Workshop Leading Hands to join the team on an 8/6 roster, POH Perth.

Job Offerings

• Permanent full-time opportunity on a long-term project
• We offer $75 per hour plus superannuation on all hours worked (12.5)
• Day shifts work only
• Weekly pay

Duties & Responsibilities

• Actively participate in promoting and upholding our positive approach to safety
• Effective & honest communication with Site Leadership and our Maintenance Manager
• Lead positively & work collaboratively to maintain our fleets availability
• Maintain compliance to service schedule and ensure compliance with all necessary paperwork
• Lead a small team of 6 mechanics/fitters and trade assistants

You will be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of:

• Kenworth C509 and T909
• Komatsu WA600 and WA500 Wheel Loaders
• Komatsu GD655 Grader
• Service Truck
• Toyota Light Vehicles
• Ancillary Equipment - Generators, Lighting Plant etc.

To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess or able to obtain the following:

• Prior Experience in a Leading Hand or 2IC role
• Heavy Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification (Australian recognised)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
• National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
• Must hold Australian working rights
