The firm
Our client is a mid-tier law firm with offices across Australia, committed to investing in legal innovation programs to develop better strategies and solutions for their people and clients. The firm has modern offices in the heart of Sydney CBD, close to train stations and other transport links.
The position is for a part time role for 22.5 hours per week. There is some flexibility with these hours.

The Role
In this role, you will provide administrative management to the litigation team, with minimal supervision, whilst following the Firm's processes and adhering to relevant legislation, client service agreements and timeframes. The role will also provide additional secretarial support to the existing Legals Assistants in the team.
- Administrative support to the litigation team.
- Notifying lawyers of upcoming court dates and deadlines (via the portal).
- Extensive diary and email management
- End-of-month billing
- Matter management
- Drafting correspondence
- Liaising with clients
About You
Given that this role is within one of Australia's top law firms, a legal background is essential. You will need experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary, supporting a partner or multiple partners. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent Microsoft Office skills, and a proven ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
