But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300!
We do more than collect the bin from your street we also; convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.
Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant / Customer Service Officer to join us at the Glendenning depot.
Join a great team that prides itself on delivering outstanding customer service to our large commercial customer base.
You will have the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand. Have excellent problem solving and time management, plus demonstrated high level customer service skills.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle high-volume customer inquiries via phone, email, and portal
- Coordinate incoming/outgoing correspondence and follow-ups
- Maintain customer service standards and assist with escalations
- Facilitate communication across teams (sales, operations, admin)
- High-volume data entry and processing confidential documentation
- Maintaining and updating training, compliance, and induction records
- Resolving discrepancies and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
- General office support, including handling correspondence and assisting with monthly reporting
- Supporting ad-hoc administrative functions as needed
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience in a similar administration/customer service role
- Excellent attention to detail with strong data entry skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of working with new internal technology systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet KPIs
- A proactive approach, with a commitment to learning and improving
- Multi-task and demonstrate an enthusiasm and determination to perform duties in a fast paced and varied role
- Ability to logically analyse workflows & processes
