Opportunity for an experienced Light Intermediate Accountant to join a large CA firm. They also offer hybrid working arrangement - 1-2 days WFH.

The firm runs a Xero-based, paperless office. Working with supportive leaders, you will get exposure across key tax areas working on quality clients (SMEs & larger) across diverse industries. This means no gaps in your experience only adding value to your career long-term.

Role will mostly involve:

• Preparing financials & tax returns for companies (primarily), trusts & individuals
• Preparation of activity statements
• Account reconciliations, adjusting journals
• Assist with tax planning and compliance
• Ad-hoc management accounting, bookkeeping tasks for specific clients
• Liaising with clients & the ATO on clients' behalf

Ideally you will have:

• Approx. 2 years' experience in Business Services/Tax
• Must have previous work experience in an Australian accounting firm
• Relevant Accounting/Commerce degree
• Started or looking to commence CA / CPA
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
