The opportunity
You will be joining our community at an exciting time! We have re-imagined our programs and in 2025 we are launching a new product suite and a new, innovative education model. Learn more about our new modular learning model here.

During 2025, we will develop further our online product and delivery strategy and commence development of online modular programs for delivery in 2026. You will play a key leadership role in this.

We are looking for an Associate Director, Online Learning and Teaching Delivery, reporting to the Director, Academic Pathway Programs.

You will:

  • Lead the design, innovation, and delivery of high-quality online learning and teaching
  • Oversee professional development to enhance online teaching capability
  • Ensure quality, compliance, and continuous improvement of online programs
  • Develop and implement frameworks to support online student success
  • Contribute as a member of the Academic Pathway Programs Senior Leadership Team

About You
You are an experienced leader with a strong background in the development and delivery of online learning at a tertiary education level. You hold relevant undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications, with at least one in the field of online education or equivalent industry experience in online delivery. You have a proven capability in designing and developing academic success frameworks focused on online learning. Your deep understanding of quality, compliance, and reporting requirements in higher education ensures that your programs meet the highest standards. Your high-level interpersonal, negotiation, listening, and communication skills enable you to develop and maintain networks and contacts with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. You excel in developing effective working relationships with staff at all levels, fully ascertaining business requirements, and managing the implementation of appropriate systems and procedures. You have demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

The location
This position will be based at The College’s Kingswood Campus, although travel to other campuses may be required. This position is not available in a fully remote format.

Remuneration Package: $168,000 p.a. (comprising Salary of $150000 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading) in accordance with The College Enterprise Agreement.
