The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the Financial Services industry or build on an already established career within the Financial Services industry in a dynamic and progressive advice business.
You will work closely alongside the Associate Adviser and Senior Financial Advisers to ensure the delivery of advice occurs seamlessly, whilst maintaining a high level of service in all client interactions. This includes assistance with client enquiries, managing adviser diaries and booking in client appointments, assisting with the preparation of client meetings and working with the Associate Adviser to ensure strategic advice is implemented in a timely and accurate manner.

Your Responsibilities
- Act as the trusted key liaison with clients for the Associate Adviser and Senior Financial Advisers.
- Prepare and send client communications as required.
- Contact various platform providers including Superannuation Funds, Investment Platforms stockbrokers to understand their processes and problem solve issues.
- Assist the Associate Adviser to proactively manage and oversee the transactions and workflows associated with the strategic recommendations.
- Work with the Associate Adviser to book client meetings in accordance with the service level agreements in place.
- Support the Associate Adviser to become familiar with Statements of Advice to oversee and determine the steps required to implement strategic recommendations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Learn and maintain an understanding of the operational processes of our Paraplanning and Support Teams to assist the Associate Adviser to project manage and oversee the completion of advice specific tasks.
- Act as the first point of contact for any internal queries from our Support Team and escalate to the Associate Adviser as required.
- Coordinate and respond to client queries / requests (i.e. change of policy ownership, pension payment changes, email enquiries, withdrawal requests), consulting with the Associate Adviser and Senior Financial Adviser and liaising with relevant Support Team members to action. Escalate as required to the Associate Adviser.
- Monitor client accounts and records ensuring accuracy of data, integrity and compliance. Escalate areas of concern to the Practice Manager.
- Work with the Associate Adviser and various Support Teams to oversee the preparation of tax documents ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Distributes to authorised stakeholders.
- Work with all Team members to offer effective solutions to RWP’s processes and procedures to achieve back-office efficiency and enhance client experience. Identifies discrepancies and or improvements to the Practice Manager.
- Escalate to the Practice Manager information gained from clients to improve processes, products, services and systems to satisfy client needs to mitigate risk to RWP’s reputation.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience working in a financial advice business is desired but not essential.
- An understanding of the financial advice process is desired but not essential.
- An understanding of the superannuation and investment environments is desired but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proactive and engaging, demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Detail orientated and highly organised.
- Results driven with the ability to take initiative.
- Experience using Adviser Logic or other financial advice technology is desired but not essential.
- Experience using the Netwealth, Macquarie, Asgard and MyNorth platforms desired but not essential.
- Experience in direct investments desired but not essential.
