The Role
Our Dandenong South based operations is seeking a cleaner / asset maintenance / handyperson to manage, maintain, service, assemble and install enviropole products throughout Melbourne Metropolitan. This flexible and diverse field-based role allows you to work independently and autonomously.

With excellent organisational and problem solving skills combined with the ability to multi task a varied workload, your attention to detail will be key to your success.

This role would suit a motivated, self-sufficient individual who is comfortable operating in the public domain, liaising with customers and working with power tools. Bring your positive mindset, results driven approach and focused attitude and make this role your own. Hours of work vary between Night shift and early mornings.

A vehicle suitable for the required tasks, mobile phone and ipad will be provided to the successful candidate.

Duties include:

• Asset maintenance and data recording
• Asset installations
• Asset Servicing/ Cleaning
• Database management
• Liaise and coordinate with customers, colleagues and management
• Ensure professional client and customer communications
• Some heavy lifting involved

(“Assets” refers to cigarette bins)

This position suits a person that:

• Loves working outdoors and not being confined to an office
• Enjoys driving and has a excellent driving record
• Someone that doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty
• Someone happy to work in the public domain
• Someone happy to work late nights or early morning shifts

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven handy-person experience
• Experience using various power tools (cordless drills etc)
• Basic working knowledge of email and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Basic working knowledge of ipad Tablet and smart phones
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Experience working autonomously, reliably, diligently to a self-led program
• Problem solving and time management skills

Further requirements:

• Able to drive a manual vehicle
• Applicants must hold a full valid VIC driver’s license
• Police records check will be required
• Working with children check may be required
