About the role:
- Full time permanent position
- Salary circa $125-140K (+ super)
- Work from home flexibility (2 days at home, 3 days in office) + RDOs

What you will be doing:
- Project management responsibility for multiple assigned projects, including planning, cost tracking, delivery schedule and risk mitigation
- Lead communication for diverse project specific stakeholders
- Working with the engineering team to ensure technical and commercial support are provided for products/programs including design and after sales support
- Ensure that designs meet applicable standards
- Provide regular reports on project KPIs , including EAC, budget burndown, and on-time delivery
- Develop and utilise tools to provide insights on project performance
- Assist with the creation of designs, cost estimates and technical proposals for new business opportunities
- Provide contractual project support, co-ordinate contractual negotiation/review and support commercial sales negotiation
- Follow systems and procedures for product development, design and production and contribute to the development of improved systems and procedures
Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and Project Management (PMP/PMBOK) (required)
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a Project Management role
- Defence industry experience (advantageous - not essential)
- Experience with project management tools (MS Projects/JIRA etc)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of motivation and willingness to learn
- Must be an Australian Citizen and can obtain and maintain an NV1 level Australian security clearance
- Must satisfy police checks and employment screening verification including employment reference checks
- Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulation (ITAR) which in some circumstances can place limitations on persons who hold dual nationality, permanent residency or are former nationals of certain countries as per ITAR 126.1
