Marino Meat & Food Store is an upmarket traditional Italian butcher and speciality food store within the Adelaide Central Markets. Specialising in Italian and European food products, house made artisan smallgoods, fresh pasta, dry aged meat and specialty cheeses, as well as our Panini Bar serving porchetta rolls and freshly piped cannoli. We’re an established family business and we’re seeking a self-motivated Deli Manager to join our team.

To be considered for this position you must hold a high work ethic and be able to contribute to a team environment. You must be available Tuesday through Saturday with the ability to work late on a Friday evening.

This is a permanent full time salaried position. We are seeking a confident, passionate and experienced Deli Manager. The position entails:

• Supervise and train new staff
• Provide staff rosters, arrange appropriate cover for staff on leave, maintain timesheet for HR
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to deli team members
• Complete control of deli, pasta bar and supermarket sections
• Maintaining and ordering stock and consumables
• Clean and prepare workstations and displays
• Merchandise supermarket section and stock windows
• Provide exceptional and responsive customer service including resolving any customer concerns
