About the role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Second-in-Command (2IC) to support the Company Accountant in achieving financial objectives while upholding the integrity and efficiency of finance and administration operations.

• Supplier & Stakeholder Enquiries
• Financial reporting
• Overseeing or assisting with the Fixed Assets Register
• Daily bank reconciliations
• General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Managing inter-company transactions
• Assisting with preparation of GST and BAS
• Assisting with the preparation of budgeting and forecasting reports
• Provide back up for the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll teams as required
• Other ad hoc accounting duties to support the team

About You

Before you apply. You must be able and willing to work in/travel to the Coogee office each day.

• Proactive attitude with a desire to learn
• Intermediate computer skills, including Excel
• Ability to multi-task as you will be working with many different clients
• Ability to work within strict deadlines and reporting timetables
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a small team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to show initiative and be a self-starter
