The Victorian Local Governance Association (VLGA) is seeking a dynamic, driven and strategic thinker to lead the Programs and Policy function of the organisation.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will have the opportunity to influence, shape and drive policy and programs that support the local government sector.

This role is responsible for the design, coordination and delivery of programs and projects that support our strong member base and key stakeholders of the VLGA.

You will have the opportunity to provide insights into contemporary issues facing the local government sector, inform policy and provide strategic advice and direction around governance-related issues that are front of mind for councils.

The role requires someone who has strong leadership experience, astute political awareness and who excels at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
