About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated fire alarm installer / technician, preferably with an electrical trade background, to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work across both minor works installations and ongoing service and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems.

What you’ll be doing

• Installing and commissioning fire detection, warning, control, and intercom systems for minor works projects.
• Programming fire panels.
• Conducting routine inspections, maintenance, testing, fault-finding, and repairs on fire and life safety systems.
• Providing after-hours servicing or call-outs (optional).

About you

• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
• Hold an NSW Driver’s Licence, Open Cabling Licence (OCL), and Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Possess an electrical trade qualification with at least 3 years of experience (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and standards.
• A commitment to workplace health and safety.
• As a condition of employment, you must undergo a pre-employment medical and a police check.

Desired Skills and Attributes

• Proven fire protection industry experience, with a strong understanding of a wide range of Fire Systems, Australian Standards, Codes and Regulations
• Strong technical skills and knowledge surrounding fire detection, warning, control and intercom systems.
• Experience in the programming of fire panels highly desirable
