BPA Children's Services (BPA) is a not-for-profit organisation that manages Kindergartens and Long Day Care Centres in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Being one of the largest providers of Early Childhood education and care services in Victoria, we deliver quality programs that meet the needs of each child and the wider community.
We are on the look out for an experienced Fixed Term Early Childhood Teacher, Nominated Supervisor & Educational Leader to fill a vacancy at Botanica Springs Kindergarten.
Position Details
- 4YO Teacher, Nominated Supervisor & Educational Leader
Parental Leave Contract ending in December 2025
Part Time (Blue Group)
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (36.25 total hours per week)
Please Note: the total hours listed include non-contact time and may be required to be completed on a separate day.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Educators, working together to build an exceptional practice and help young children to thrive.
- Guide the development and implementation of a high-quality educational program, based on the practices and principles of the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with the National Law, the National Regulations and the National Quality Standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor or Masters of Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA).
- Demonstrated experience in leadership (4+ years minimum).
- Full Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration and a valid Police Check are mandatory.
- Sound knowledge and experience with implementing the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Child Safe Standards.
- The right to work in Australia.
- Experience with complex and vulnerable early childhood environments.
- Impeccable standards of child safe and child safeguarding, health and safety.
