About the role

The Grange Community Centre is seeking an exceptional Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team in Hoppers Crossing, VIC. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the early learning experiences of our young children, supporting their growth and development through engaging, play-based education.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive early childhood education programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Observe, assess and document children's learning and development, using this information to tailor educational experiences
• Develop respectful, nurturing relationships with children and their families, fostering a sense of belonging and community
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and well-organized learning environment
• Collaborate with the teaching team to continuously improve teaching practices and the educational program
• Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and the Centre's policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
• Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families
• Creative, child-focused approach to lesson planning and teaching
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of young children
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
