Lettuce Talk Nutrition is seeking an Accredited Practising Dietitian experienced in women's health to join our growing private practice 2 days per week. The role is primarily a work from home position, with potential for an in person clinic once per month.

Lettuce Talk Nutrition supports clients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, preconception nutrition, pregnancy nutrition, irritable bowel syndrome, insulin resistance and eating disorders. We also support client’s in managing other health conditions such as diabetes, metabolic associated liver disease and heart-related conditions, and weight management.

About the Role

As a dietitian at Lettuce Talk Nutrition, you will be supporting clients with a variety of health conditions, including PCOS and endometriosis. Consultation’s will be conducted online via Zoom with the potential to complete a monthly in person clinic at a gynaecology clinic in Carlton, Victoria.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop nutrition interventions to support the management of health conditions including PCOS, endometriosis, insulin resistance, irritable bowel syndrome and other conditions.
• Develop and adapt nutrition supplementation plans, as indicated, to support the management of women’s health conditions, fertility and as indicated in other clinical conditions.
• Suggest and interpret relevant blood tests.
• Complete administration tasks in a timely manner, including consultation notes, client summary emails, doctors’ letters, supplement plans, client invoicing and other relevant tasks.
• Complete other tasks such as nutrition presentations, blog writing, marketing and social media content development, as required.

About You

Lettuce Talk Nutrition is looking for a candidate who is:

• An excellent verbal and written communicator.
• Passionate and skilled in women’s health, including experience supporting those with PCOS, endometriosis, preconception nutrition and other chronic health conditions.
• Experience and confidence in independently developing nutrition interventions and supplement plans, to support the management of women’s health conditions, including PCOS, endometriosis and fertility nutrition, in addition to managing other chronic health conditions.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
• Confident in independently managing caseload and working autonomously from home.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and medical professionals.
• Enthusiastic and strong attention to detail.

Essential criteria include:

• Minimum 2 years of dietetic experience in women’s health, including PCOS and endometriosis, with minimum 3-5 years post-graduate dietetic experience.
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Full Accredited Dietitian Australia status (or eligibility.)
• Professional indemnity insurance.
• Valid working with children’s check.
• Current police check.
• Melbourne-based role.

Desirable criteria:

• Experience using Halaxy patient software and Zoom.
• Experience in supporting clients with eating disorders.
• Credentialed eating disorder dietitian.
• Experience in developing nutrition-related social media posts and blogs.
