On behalf of our client, a sustainability company we are looking for an ER/HR Case Management Specialist. This is a permanent role that offers flexibility to work from home. The role has locations in Hillsdale, Glendenning and Eastern Creek and therefore will need to potential go to sites.

Within this role, you will play a key role with managing a range of HR and ER issues. This will have a strong focus on leading workplace investigations from the ER perspective. You will be involved in providing expert advice across a variety of Employee Relations issues.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading complex workplace investigations focusing on Employee Relations and have a strong understanding of labor laws, workplace legislations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations from an Employee Relations perspective,
  • Plan, drafting allegations, and delivering clear, comprehensive findings
  • Provide advice on a wide range of ER issues
  • Manage cases related to non-work-related injuries and job abandonment, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and best practices.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and operational managers to offer expert ER guidance and assist in disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure all processes are in line with employment legislation and prepare detailed, accurate reports for each case.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in leading intricate workplace investigations with a focus on ER.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in offering advice on a variety of employee relations (ER) concerns.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, workplace regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including HR teams and operational leaders.
  • Experience managing various HR issues, such as injury management and job abandonment.
  • A legal background or experience in law is an asset, though not a requirement.
