The role
As the Production & Sales Support Officer, you will:
- Assist the sales team in uploading customer orders into supplier portals and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full (DIFOT)
- Process sales orders & job packs by inputting data into internal systems and tracking orders to meet customer timeframes
- Upload and manage customer design and logo requirements to ensure finished products meet customer requirements
- Field calls from customers and help them with any enquires or order issues
- Manage order timeframes to ensure goods are delivered in full and on time (DIFOT)
- Track order status and update internal systems, and communicate production or delivery issues with customers and the sales team
- Input and raise Purchase Orders (PO) internally using MYOB
- Prepare and maintain product catalogues detailing product specifications and technical information
- Assist with general office administration duties
To be considered for the position, you will have:
- Experience working in an office environment with exposure to assisting commercial customers(Business to business sales environment)
- A Can-Do-Attitude with an ability to learn new skills
- Strong attention with the ability to key in customer orders – strong data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- An interest in apparel and merchandising is an advantage
