About the role

Guru Hundal Freightlines' is seeking multiple experienced HC Local Truck Drivers to join our dedicated team in Larapinta, QLD. As a full-time HC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods across the region, delivering to retail stores.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate heavy combination vehicles (HCs) in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Delivering to retail store sites, unloading using electronic MHE where required
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and trailer roadworthiness
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

What we're looking for

• Valid HC driver's licence with a clean driving record less than 12 months old
• Minimum 2 years' experience operating heavy combination vehicles
• Ability to successfully pass a driving assessment
• Clean pre-employment police check less than 12 months old
• Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and english skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Drivers willing to work 5-6 days per week and long hours
