About the Role

We’re seeking reliable drivers to transport steel products using Heavy Combination (HC) and Heavy Rigid (HR) trucks. The role involves operating a truck-mounted Hiab crane—training provided for those eager to learn!

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HC & HR trucks to transport oversized steel loads.
• Use a Hiab crane to load and unload steel products (training available).
• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment.
• Work closely with dispatch, warehouse staff, and fellow drivers.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records.
• Prioritise safety at all times.

What You Need

✔️ Valid HC or MC truck license

✔️ Experience with truck-mounted Hiab cranes (preferred, but training provided)

✔️ A strong safety record and excellent driving history

✔️ Ability to handle heavy loads safely

✔️ Good knowledge of Brisbane and surrounding areas

✔️ Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when required

✔️ Full working rights in Australia

✔️ Ability to pass drug & alcohol (D&A) tests and a medical assessment
