Passive Fire certifier / supervisor- Immediate Start

Must have FPAS accreditation in “Fire Safety Assessment” as a minimum.

Role and responsibilities

• Carry out site compliance audits and provide written reports to our clients in a timely manner.
• Preparation of annual fire safety statements
• Attend Site meetings and inspections, to provide solutions to identify and rectify non compliant installations
• Be able to communicate with clients on a technical level, and sell our services

To be successful in this role you MUST have: FPAS fire safety assessor credentials for passive works.

• Fire dampers
• Smoke Dampers
• Smoke and heat vents
• Access panels, doors and hoppers to fire-resisting shafts
• Fire doors
• Fire shutters
• Fire seals protecting openings in fire-resisting components
• Fire windows
• Lightweight construction
• Solid core doors
• Smoke doors
• Automatic fail-safe devices

• A proven track record in the fire protection industry
• Sound knowledge of all passive fire related and Australian standards & BCA
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Ability to prioritize & manage multiple tasks
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office and plan radar
• Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must have accreditation in the below FSM's as a minimum

Good to have

• Additional trade qualifications suitable to light weight construction
• Asbestos removal (friable) licence
• Passive fire installation skills and experience
• Smoke damper installation specific experience
