We are seeking a motivated Powder Coater and Prep Worker to join our workshop in Bunbury. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in preparing surfaces for painting and powder coating, ensuring the highest quality finishes for our clients.

About the role

• Prepare surfaces for painting and powder coating by sanding, cleaning, masking, and applying primers as needed
• Assist in the mixing and application of paints and powder coats, ensuring colour accuracy and consistency
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations

About you

• Previous experience in a similar role within a workshop environment
• Proficiency in surface preparation techniques, including sanding, cleaning, and masking
• Experience and qualifications in forklift truck operations
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques in the field
• Forklift certificate and proficiency in forklift operation
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Current WA Drivers Licence
• White card
