The Western Australian Golf Club is a private Members Club with over 1500 Members. Ideally located just 10 minutes’ drive North of Perth CBD, the club is recognized as one of the leading Private Clubs in Western Australia, having been recently awarded the Metropolitan Facility and Golf Course of the Year.

About the Role
Reporting to the House Manager, your role will be to manage the day-to-day food, beverage and function delivery of the Club. This involves overseeing bar and food service staff, managing inventory, ensuring the smooth running of the FOH & bar area, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety. The Hospitality & Functions Manager will work closely with the clubhouse team to provide a welcoming, enjoyable, and professional atmosphere for all patrons, with a key focus on coordinating and delivering Functions & Events.
You will be responsible for the planning, administration, and delivery of a high level of service to members across all hospitality areas at the Club. You will be responsible for liaising with various departments including the Kitchen, Membership, Golf Operations and Food & Beverage Teams to ensure that all functions run smoothly, have an attention to detail and are delivered to a high standard.
This is a salaried full-time position with a salary package negotiated with the successful applicant.

About You
You will be highly motivated, energetic, and engaged.
You will be supported and guided by an experienced House Manager but will ultimately have full responsibility for the FOH and Functions business.
Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar Hospitality role.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and be able to deliver high levels of outstanding member experiences.
Ability to manage all F&B and day–to–day operations.
Exceptionally strong communication and facilitation skills, both written and verbal.
Working knowledge of various computer software programs with strong administrative skills.
An ability to prioritise workload, manage time and scheduled tasks whilst remaining resilient to changing priorities.
Knowledge of sequence of service for functions and an extensive food and beverage knowledge.
Have current RSA certification and currently hold an Approved Managers card or are happy to obtain it.
