As we continue to grow, we're seeking a highly motivated Production Assistant to join our production / videography department.

About the Role:

Being part of a small team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of our production services, including social content creation, studio production, on-location filming, and post-production.

Studio Production

• Manage studio operations, including equipment setup, client liaison, and ensuring a smooth and efficient production environment.
• Develop capabilities of the studio including split camera views, live streaming and efficient file sharing.

On Location Filming

• Independently manage aspects of on-location filming logistics, from pre-production planning to on-set execution.
• Data wrangling and project set up for editing

Post Production

• Use video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, as well as mobile editing apps like CapCut.
• Lead the post-production workflow for multi-camera projects, including editing, colour correction, sound mixing, and graphics integration, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
• Experiment with different editing techniques, visual effects, motion graphics, and animation to create innovative and attention-grabbing content.

Social Media Content

• Create and edit compelling short-form video content specifically designed for social media platforms like Reels and TikTok, focusing on engaging hooks, trending styles, and effective storytelling.
• Monitor the performance of your videos using platform analytics, analyse data, and use insights to optimise future content for maximum engagement and reach.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats.

This year, we're launching "Delight Your Audience" an on-location video series showcasing inspiring individuals in the creative field. This project offers a unique opportunity to experiment with new video formats and develop your creative skills.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and passion for social media content (please provide a link to your portfolio/reel).
• A deep understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and audience engagement strategies, and the ability to translate that understanding into compelling video content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and mobile editing apps.
• Understanding of video production principles, cameras and sound.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced production environment
