We are looking for an Asphalt Plant Operator, for our Bridgewater-based plant, to assist with the daily operation of the asphalt plant by undertaking asphalt plant and yard general maintenance and routine inspections, batching asphalt, testing asphalt samples and stock control.

The role requires the operation of a front-end loader and forklift, computer operation and systems knowledge. You will also be required to work at heights and within confined spaces; therefore you must be comfortable with both.

Due to the nature of the role and industry, you must be flexible in your working arrangements as the role may require working long hours, some shift work and weekend work and travel to our Northern Asphalt Plant.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current drivers licence
• White card
• A positive attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and
• A strong commitment to safety
