About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our team at Kb civi in Caboolture area, Queensland. As a full-time Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of heavy construction equipment to support our civil construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and maintain a range of construction machinery, including excavators, loaders, graders, and compactors
• Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment
• Liaise with the project team to ensure equipment is utilised effectively and safely
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to minimise risks and incidents
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of plant and equipment operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Plant Operator in the construction industry
• GPS experience is essential
• Competent in the operation of a variety of heavy construction equipment, excavator, dozer and grader.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality and safety
• Relevant construction industry certifications or licenses
