Position: Industrial Electrician / Auto Electrician – New Build Tankers

Pay Rate: $62.50 per hour NT Labour Hire + Super, Overtime, and $27 per day Travel Allowance

About the Role: TRS Resourcing is seeking skilled and qualified Industrial and Auto Electricians to join our client's team in constructing and repairing truck trailers, including dry bulk tankers, fuel tankers, agriculture and food-grade tankers, and related prime movers. Our client, a leading industry player across Australia, is expanding their workforce due to a robust business pipeline extending into 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct electrical boxes and mount components
• Interpret and read electrical circuits
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues
• Install Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
• Run electrical looms and terminate wiring
• Service, repair, and maintain the electrical systems of the fuel tanker fleet and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and road transport guidelines
• Interpret workshop and engineering drawings
• Prioritize work tasks effectively
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Trade qualification in a relevant field
• Own tools (specialist tools provided)
• Right to work in Australia
• Current residence in Melbourne, Victoria
• Ability to provide reference contact details from two past employers
