The role

House of Bread & Pastries is searching for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Hand / Chef to join our team in Brighton, VIC.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of meals and baked goods to the highest standard
• Assisting the Head Chef and other kitchen staff with meal preparation, plating, and presentation
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Following all health and safety protocols and procedures
• Demonstrating a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or Chef, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or cafe environment
• Strong cooking skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a busy kitchen
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with the company
