About the role

Join the team at Murphy Transport Solutions as an MC/HR local driver. These are full-time roles based in Adelaide, SA. As an MC/HR Driver, you will play a vital role in the efficient and reliable transport of goods across the local region, contributing to the continued growth and success of this well established transport and logistics company.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating heavy vehicles such as rigid trucks, semi-trailers and B Doubles to transport a variety of goods
• Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety procedures and environmental regulations
• Conducting pre-trip inspections and reporting any vehicle faults or maintenance requirements
• Liaising with dispatch and customers to ensure efficient and on-time deliveries
• Maintaining accurate records of work hours, distances travelled and delivered goods
• Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting the broader operations of the business

What we're looking for

• A current MC or HR driver's license with a strong safety record. (Synchromesh a must for HR)
• Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles in a transport or logistics environment
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road rules and safety regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team
• Flexible and adaptable approach to accommodate changing priorities
• Physically fit
