About the role

Alpha Heavy Towing is seeking a full-time Heavy Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Kemps Creek, NSW. As a Heavy Tow Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing reliable and efficient heavy vehicle recovery services to our diverse client base across the manufacturing, transport and logistics industries.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating and manoeuvring heavy tow trucks to recover and transport disabled or damaged vehicles
• Assessing vehicle conditions and determining the appropriate recovery methods and equipment
• Loading and securing vehicles onto the tow truck, ensuring they are transported safely
• Communicating with clients, dispatchers and other team members to coordinate efficient recovery operations
• Maintaining detailed records of all jobs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
• Performing routine maintenance and pre-trip inspections on the tow truck to keep it in optimal working condition

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a truck driver in the road transport industry
• A Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
• Strong practical skills in vehicle recovery and towing operations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• A commitment to safety and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
