Microsoft Power Platform developer required to join a QLD Govt department in a contract role from March through until the end of 2025, with extension possible. Based in the CBD, there will be some flexibility to also WFH up to 2 days per week. You will take a lead in developing a User Interface (from a legacy core system), leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform. This position will provide technical design and delivery, taking inputs from architecture, business analysts, data governance, security and other domains to support the new solution. The suitable candidate for this role will have a passion for successful delivery and will leverage their expertise of the Microsoft Power Platform to design and develop a new and efficient interface.

The role:

• Lead and facilitate the design, development, testing, documentation, deployment and customisation of the Power Platform solution
• Integrate Power Apps with Dataverse, OneLake using Microsoft Fabric connectors, APIs and other customer connectors, inc integration with Azure DevOps
• Create data visualisations and embed Power BI Analytics into Power Apps for real time insights
• Collaborate with other teams, including BA’s, data engineers and It professionals.
• Create Technical prototypes, wireframes and documentation to enable translation of business requirements into functional requirements.

Your background:

• 3 plus years’ experience in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Pipelines/Fabric and Power Apps Flows.
• Microsoft Certification, such as Power Platform Developer Associate or Azure Certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience in integrating and consuming Azure Platform services across components using Pipelines, Dataverse, Fabric and power apps flows
• Comprehensive understanding of Azure DevOps pipelines, release and environment management, within Agile Delivery environment.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral for use in a complex project environment
