The Macleay Group – Hotel Manager – Randwick (18 Months Maternity leave Coverage, with the possibility to extend)

We are an Australian family-owned company with a recently refurbished stable of 5 boutique hotels located in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney. No expense has been spared in presenting a classic landmark in Randwick for the retiree traveller to the more modern offering for the price conscious younger adventurer.

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Hotel Manager to lead our team at Randwick. This role will see you managing our two beautiful properties below:

• St. Marks Randwick – 28 Rooms:

The role reports to the Group General Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of all areas such as Guest Services, Housekeeping and Maintenance.
• Proactively seek sales and marketing opportunities, focusing on continuous business development, maximising room yield & increase hotel revenue through strategic sale practices and yield management.
• Manage and resolve guest complaints in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure optimum guest satisfaction.
• Availability across seven days on a rotating roster; weekend work will be required.

• You can provide honest feedback on performance and lead succession planning processes for team members.
• You have a hands-on approach to leadership by conducting regular frontline shifts.

• You have a high level of emotional intelligence and demonstrate your leadership abilities.
• You have the ability to identify service and skills gaps, and enforce solutions.
