Accounting Manager Transport

• Rhodes Location | Close to public transport
• Global Transport Business | $60.00 - $70.00 per hour + Super
• Temporary assignment with a strong potential to extend

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join this large global business for an exciting contract role supporting a business transformation within their transport division. You will play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Linehaul costings, cost review, and detailed analysis
• Finance business partnering with commercial and operations teams
• Provide financial solutions and guidance to the business
• Review pricing and cost models for new business opportunities
• Manage the onboarding process for new customers and carriers
• Review and report on overheads, including wages and salary allocations
• Oversee Profit and Loss for various business units and multi-site operations
• Supervise the billings function for the transport business
• Fleet management costings and P&L reporting
• General Ledger review and oversight
• Revenue analysis by customer
• Lead and mentor a team of Commercial Analysts and Accountants
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Strong understanding of the transport business
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills
• CPA qualified Accountant with at least 5 years in a finance business partnering role
• Experience in large businesses with complex, high-volume transactional environments
• Proven experience leading a team
• Experience with OTM and Oracle OneCloud (preferred, but not essential)
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
