Lonsdale Built is looking to hire an Experienced Carpenter/Leading Hand Carpenter to join our team working on residential renovations & additions on the North Shore, Northern Beaches and Hill's area.

This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson to take on a key position within our growing construction company. As a qualified carpenter, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality residential building projects.

What we're looking for:

• A valid drivers licence
• Vehicle and own tools
• Formal carpentry qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry
• Possess a White Card - General Construction Induction Card
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Have a keen eye for detail
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and techniques
• MUST have previous experience in decking framing and installation

What you'll be doing:

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden structures and frameworks
• Installing framework, timber decking, composite decking, handrails, feature fencing, privacy screens, stairs, and other woodwork
• Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site

What we offer:

• $45 - 65 per hour + super
• Permanent role
• Multiple positions available
