About the role
We are looking for a trade qualified carpenter to join our team based in the Newcastle & Maitland areas on a Permanent Full-time basis.
Reporting to the Maintenance Area Supervisor you will take pride in your work by providing a professional and quality standard of repair and installation of building products to our tenants. Working as part of a larger team you will demonstrate a flexible approach to your work by your willingness to undertaking a range of general maintenance tasks including:
- Fixing & Finishing Carpentry
- Roof and ceiling repairs
- Patching & Painting
- Repairing and replacing timber decks, balustrades, steps and pergolas.
- Small Concreting jobs
- Door and window maintenance
- Residential property maintenance
About You
- Trade qualified carpenter or joiner with hands- on experience and an excellent understanding of carpentry techniques
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- An eye for detail and the ability to work at a low margin of error
- NSW unrestricted driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- White card
Job Benefits
As well as a competitive hourly rate of $41.40 per hour you will also have access to:
- Flexible working arrangements either 9-day fortnight or monthly RDO
