About the Role:
We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager for our client's Chadstone store. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations while ensuring the highest level of customer service and maintaining the brand's premium standards. As a natural leader, you will inspire and manage a dedicated team, helping to deliver a world-class shopping experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring that sales, stock levels, and customer service are all top priorities.
- Lead and motivate the sales team, driving performance and maintaining high standards of service.
- Foster a customer-first approach by providing personalised, knowledgeable advice and ensuring an exceptional in-store experience.
- Ensure that the store's presentation and visual merchandising align with the brand's premium image and quality.
- Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries, inventory checks, and stock replenishment.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensure health and safety standards are met.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in retail, with a focus on leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
- Passion for premium homeware products and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a focus on quality.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
