About the Position

We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role will support HR operations and initiatives, ensuring effective HR processes and compliance across the organisation. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting employee lifecycle activities, recruitment, onboarding, training and general HR administration.

Working within a team and reporting to the HR Director, this role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth HR operations and supporting employees throughout their journey at AEMG.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition, including assisting with managing requisitions and all recruitment activities such as setting up interviews, conducting reference and background checks and ensuring a seamless hiring process.
  • Onboarding new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the organisation.
  • Maintain HR dashboards, employee files and databases in line with confidentiality requirements.
  • Assist with managing employee relations casework, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances and absence.
  • Ensure compliance with current employment law and regulations, including workplace health and safety standards, policies and best practices.
  • Assist with the Employee Performance Review and Development system, ensuring alignment with individual and organisational development activities.
  • Support offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a positive exit experience for departing employees.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR role, preferably in an education focused organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, employment regulations and best practices.
  • Experience with HR systems and administrative processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mandarin language skills are highly desirable.
