Housekeeper

Experience preferred but willing to train the right person.

Surf Beach Motel, Port Macquarie NSW

A family-owned motel is looking for a housekeeper preferably with experience.

The position is over a seven day rotating roster.

Minimum 10-12 hours per week.

Must be honest and trustworthy, responsible and reliable, organised, have a strong work ethic, be a hard worker, possess great attention to detail, take pride in your job, and be efficient at time management.

Duties include:

Cleaning of guests rooms as per schedule

• Cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and floors
• Vacuuming of rooms
• Making beds to the required standard
• Dusting and cleaning of furniture and mirrors
• Ensure all rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities
• Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes
• Disposal of all waste
• Report any maintenance required
• Daily Laundry
• Exterior or property / Common access areas
• Reception presentation
• Quality control
• Guest satisfaction

We are seeking someone who has a can-do attitude, great communication and customer service skills. We require someone who has great attention to detail and able to retain our high standards in a busy and physically demanding position.
